Reputable company with quality installers. The installer came and measured so we knew the right amount of carpet would be ordered. When it was installed the same installer delivered and installed the carpet. Tony did a nice job and cleaned up after himself. Service makes a difference! -
About 1 year ago, S&H removed carpet in our bedroom and installed a floating floor. They removed the baseboard and reinstalled it above the new floor, which a competitor stated they would not attempt. Needless to say, we are thrilled with the installers expertise and our lovely new floor. So, when shopping for kitchen blinds this year, if course we started at S&H. We found exactly what we … More wanted. The order came in sooner than the estimated date. Our installer was in and out, installing 4 blinds in 30 minutes and even cleaning up! Our blinds are light filtering and fabulous. Both experiences have been perfect at S&H, along with the quality materials. The cost was outstanding. I will only shop at S&H for future home improvements.

After many years of using S & H as a subcontractor I finally had the opportunity to use them my self. I give them 5 stars because they communicated well, we’re ready to install before I was ready and the installation process was a great experience. Over the course of OVER a MONTH, this place NEVER got back to us about estimates once providing floor sizes to them. We made many calls. They said once that Claire (owner) had a family emergency but they never got back w us.
One female worker left hateful, RUDE voicemail that we would have to wait “in order” for customer service.

DO NOT recommend them as WHY pay for such RUDENESS! Look elsewhere for new flooring. Their prices are crazy high per samples in the store. I can definitely SEE why the ONE nice female worker we met QUIT.

We love our new blinds! Claire and Heather helped with selection of fabric and showed us several options. Bree was so helpful in getting us scheduled and Corey did an excellent installation job. Can't wait for family & friends to see our new window treatments.

S&H installed carpet squares at our home. We took too long to decide, but they remained patient and responsive throughout. The final result was a great installation by skilled and courteous professionals, all at a fair and transparent price.

They did an amazing job taking trim off, putting new on, Taking out blinds down, putting shutters up. They were the only ones that said to do the job right they recommend the old trim off everyone else wanted to just put additional trim on. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs blinds or flooring done.

They went above and beyond with their service. When we were scheduled to have our carpet installed I had removed the old carpet to help them out. The next day my new carpet was to be installed. They were however unsatisfied with the quality of the carpet and didn’t want it to be permanent. But because the old carpet was removed they installed the new carpet of poor quality so we wouldn’t have bare … More floors while waiting for new carpet. When new carpet arrived I was given three days for install. They finished in two days and they did a great job. We will be using S&H again for sure.

I've ordered both blinds and flooring from S&H. I can't say enough about how much I love this store and these people. They are truly "hands-on" and so easy to work with. We are on Kelleys Island. In my experience, no one wants to go and service the island. S&H has gone out of their way to be helpful and worked me into their schedule multiple times. Three years later when I had a question/problem, Corey was on the island on another job. He stopped over and fixed the problem for no charge. He explained why it happened and how to prevent/fix it. In May 2020, I moved into a condo in Huron. I wanted to have all the carpet ripped out and replaced with luxury vinyl flooring. Of course Covid measures were in full place. I purchased a set of cordless top-down, bottom-up woven shades for our newly remodeled kitchen. I made selections and got a quote from S&H and kept looking. We had a great experience with S&H. We don't live in Sandusky, but were able to order our flooring through them and had an easy pickup in Cincinnati. Amazing customer service experience! We live nearly an hour away and after receiving a few local estimates for whole house flooring, from our local big box stores, we decided to look at our options a little further from home. We had a local installer provide us with measurements and I gave those to Claire with an idea of the flooring we were interested in (vinyl and carpet) to get a quote. We have a custom 4.5’x4.5’ shower in our home - after months of searching for an insert and tons of quotes between $8k-$12k (including Bath Fitter which we thought would be the least expensive route)...
